When we cancel the ride, and edit the ride description with #cancel then what? Change the ride status to public with registration open or closed?
Does and email get sent to all registered riders right away? What does the email say? Does the ride leader get confirmation of the email sent and received by registered riders? Is the mystery of what who will see the message on time before going to ride revealed and captured any where?

    New Features for Ride Organizers

Charles River Wheelers is excited to announce two new features for ride organizers.

Cross Posting from Rides in Development

We know you want to easily share information about your rides. We have developed a new feature that allows you to cross post your ride information to #Slack, #Facebook, and #Instagram with just one simple step. By adding #Slack to your ride description, a short summary will automatically be posted in Slack. #Facebook and #Instagram will be coming soon!

    Cancel Events with Ease

We understand that sometimes events need to be canceled. We want to make that process easier for you. By adding #cancel to your event description, the system will cancel your event and automatically notify registrants of the cancellation.

We hope these new features will make organizing rides easier and more efficient for you. Try them out today!
