Technically, not exactly bike news, but posting because of the heat dome.
12,000 BTU Midea portable air conditioner for sale. I bought it used last year when our building's AC had to be replaced. I don't need it any more.

Cools a room up to 275 sq.ft. Sits on the floor, connects to a window with a tube. Works great $479 new. Asking $240.

Not sure if this is the right forum but I just got back from a week long tour of Ireland ie from the southern tip (Mizen Head) to the northern tip (Malin Head). Approx 550 miles in 7 days tracking up the west coast of Ireland. Awesome experience, really well organized trip in good hotels/B&Bs at a truly great value price. The organizer (guy named Carl, based in England) doesn't market to the US (doesn't know how) but this is a trip easily accessible to New England based riders with the number of direct flights to Dublin available (note he can accommodate 12-18 riders on each trip which can vary from individual riders to groups that take up the full quota). If anybody wants to know more ie how it works/logistics etc then feel free to email me at bwfcmike@hotmail.com and I'm happy to share. I know Carl would be more than happy to lay on a trip for US riders if there was interest.

Gravel bike related: I have an Airbnb in northern Vermont (Jeffersonville, north side of Smugglers Notch) that is adjacent to the Lamoille valley rail trail (LVRT). The 93 mile long LVRT is 100 yards from the house. The LVRT has a gravel surface and it allows you to link up with gravel backroads while avoiding busy Vermont highways. Also, two miles from the Long Trail and a 15 minute drive to Smugglers Notch ski area. Its a great four season location. The house is a 200 year old farmhouse that sleeps up to 8. 10% discount for CRW members. Follow this link airbnb.com/h/smuggsfarmhouse
