Ride Description
From beautiful Newburyport, we’ll wind through some lovely back roads into Southern New Hampshire. The rides will follow stretches of quiet roads along the Merrimack River. We will be heading as far north as Exeter, where we stop for snack/restroom @ Me & Ollie's Bakery & Cafe (mile 29.5)
Caution at Spofford St. Bridge: This narrow bridge heading into Newburyport has no shoulder and is a major bottleneck; solo riders should firmly take the center of the lane to prevent dangerous passes, while groups should cross as a tight, two-abreast block. If you see heavy traffic or wide loads approaching, please use the pedestrian sidewalk for your own safety.
Terrain: Mostly gentle rolling, no real challenging hills.
