Ride Overview: Join us for a fun, social gravel and mixed-terrain ride! The route is 71% unpaved, consisting mostly of wide gravel roads and rail trails, though some sections may be rough, sandy, or muddy.

Equipment Note: Gravel bikes are strongly suggested. This route is not appropriate for road or commuter bikes, though mountain bikes are perfectly fine.

Pacing & New Riders:

  • Experienced: If you are familiar with the route, you are welcome to "show-and-go" at your own pace.

  • New to Gravel: If you are new to unpaved riding, please email/text the ride leader before signing up.

The Route: Take a journey through Revolutionary War history! We’ll start at Revolution Hall and ride via the Meagherville trail and residential streets to the eastern entrance of Minuteman National Historic Park. We will follow Battle Road past historic buildings, soldier graves, and the Paul Revere capture site, reaching Meriam’s Corner.

The route continues through Concord farmland and open space before looping back on the historic rail beds that once connected Lexington, Bedford, and Concord. We’ll ride the Reformatory Branch, head up and back on the Narrow Gauge Trail, and return via the Minuteman Bikeway. We'll finish back at Revolution Hall—stick around to treat yourself to a well-earned beer!

Navigation & Safety Proper navigation tools are required: Please bring a GPS device or a phone app. Do not rely on others for navigation, as riders will be traveling at different speeds.

Weather Policy Rain cancels. The ride leader will make the final call by noon on the day of the ride.
