Ride Description:
Not a great season for the Red Sox and they cost a bundle. And it's not a great ride to/from Fenway. Let's see some good baseball - the Cape Cod League, at a price anyone can afford - $0.00. Wareham has a team in the league and they're playing this Sunday at home. 6:00 pm game time. I plan to watch an inning or two. Since Wareham is not actually on the Cape, there is no need to cross either of the bridges over the canal with their frustrations. Do some chores or sleep late and meet at 1:00 pm at the ball field and, it we time it right, finish the ride in time for the start of the game.
The route is re-cycled from one of our old Cranberry Century options and meets my non-negotiable requirement of having a Dunkin Donuts at the halfway point.
Pace: I'm a casual rider and will sweep the course. If enough riders show up, I'll group and start the riders by pace.
Ride Start Location:
The Spillane ball field next to the Wareham town Hall and Wareham Middle School. https://maps.app.goo.gl/8Mays8Y7XzDuUhsz9
