Ride Description:
We all started somewhere. If you are new to road cycling, or new to group riding, then this clinic is for you.
Take a chance to learn the fundamentals of riding in a group, which is very different than solo or paired riding.
This is a great way to get ready to ride on the many events on the CRW calendar. Learn skills, bring a guest or friend new to riding.
We will cover the basics: SMART riding. Hand signals, vocal alerts, distancing, pacing, how to eat and drink on the bike, how to ride defensively in traffic, information on MA cycling rules, and much more!
After instructional information session, we will leave on a short flat ride to practice skills, including a rail trail section with speeds 12-15 mph.
Ride Start Location:
Burchard Park, Weston. There is parking available at the ride start.
Ride Leader(s):
