Ride Description:
Shelly Keidar is moving back to Canada - join us for a friendly send off/farewell ride, with an after party at Arlington Town Hall for the Menotomy Beer Hall going on till 5:00. We will head out of Arlington on the bike path, and into Bedford on some country roads and return via Page Road to North Road and back on the bike path. There are many opportunities to shorten the route - feel free to ask. Posting this as a Womens' ride but all are welcome
The ride leaves PROMPTLY from Arlington Center at the NW entrance to the bikepath by the Uncle Sam Memorial Statue. .
Pace/Ride Type:
13-16 mph, with regrouping where safe to do so. Faster riders may form groups to make their own time. Please have the route downloaded to your navigation device and be aware that you may be riding alone before regrouping occurs.
LED RIDE; the group will stay together as much as possible, regroup where safe to do so, and ride at the advertised pace; slower riders may be dropped and finish on their own.
Arlington Center at the NW entrance to the bikepath by the Uncle Sam Memorial Statue.
Restroom: None at the start; there are plenty of port-a-potties in Lexington for the weekend events and hopefully the rest rooms at the end of the bike path are open.
Cancellation:
Rain or unsafe weather/road conditions cancels. Sunday will be the make up day.
