Ride Description:

I would like to dedicate this ride to Eli Post, CRW president, VP of rides, Wheel People editor, board member, ride leader, and all around great guy. We’re climbing the Epic KOM for you, Eli.

This is the first of three big challenges of this Zwift series. Not as difficult as Alpe du Zwift or Ven Tops, it is still a respectable climb with beautiful graphics.

If you have not done it before, then joining this rubber band group may be the way to go for your first time. If you get tired there is always the 3 minute “coffee break” option.

The majority of the climb is 6 miles at 4% grade before you hit the “kicker” up to the radio tower (yes, we’re going all the way up). This segment is 0.7 miles at 12.7%.

We will have a nice cruise to warm up on our way to the KOM, and a fantastic decent where you may pick up a speed badge or two!

Discord will be on to encourage each other. If you're not on the CRW Discord server, email me for an invitation to join.
