Ride Description:

**Afternoon version of our morning speedy ride.

The ride leaves PROMPTLY from the Minuteman Bikeway terminus near Alewife. A variation on the Praline Croissant ride, but faster and longer. This ride is for experienced women, women-identifying, and nonbinary riders looking for a quicker pace (16+ mph, slightly slower in early Spring) and paceline work. The ride is show-and-go and will not necessarily regroup if riders are dropped, so be sure to have the route downloaded before the ride starts. Ride leader may amend route for safety or time constraints. Please note: for the safety of all, the ride leader does not allow ebikes or aerobar use on this ride; riders should be well-experienced in riding safely at high speeds in close quarters with other riders.

Ride Start Location:

Uncle Sam Plaza, 4 Mystic St, Arlington, MA 02474.

Cancellation:

Rain or unsafe weather/road conditions cancels. Will make call by 9 pm the night before and confirm again at 5:00 am in case of unexpected weather.

Ride Leader(s):

The CRW Women's/Nonbinary Program's goal is to invite more women, nonbinary, and female-identifying folks onto the road, foster connection with others in the club, and act as an on-ramp to other co-ed areas of the club. Feel free to contact the ride leader via email if you have any questions about this ride or the Women's/Nonbinary Program in general.
