Ride Description:

LATE BREAKING NEWS:  Sherborn's 350th aniversary also happens on Saturday with an all day concert at the ballfields where we would park.  Plus they're closing the streets between 10:30 and 12:30 for a parade.

Park instead at the lot accros from Dunkin Donuts  https://maps.app.goo.gl/eRKaCHEvZ3zqAYcE8  or in the spaces around the town hall which is in back of the above lot.  Spaces also availble at the neighboring churches.  GET THERE EARLY.

32.5 mile Gravel ride starting in Sherborn on dirt roads, packed stone dust bike paths, jeep roads, and single track trails.  Not techy but you'll need a gravel bike.  The single track has rocks and roots. Bikeable but you have to be carful.  Plan on 4 hours elapsed time.  Lunch or snacks at Starbucks mile 24.

We have a big turnout.  To accomodate, put yourself into one of the following speed categories:  10-12, 13-14, 15+.  Frank Calabrese has volunteered to lead out the 15+, Erik Dentremont has been volunteered to lead out the 13-14,  and I'll handle the rest.  Groups will leave in order of speed, fastest first.  If things get outa controll with the road closures and parade preparation, very likely, just park and get on the route asap.  If you're doing OK, keep going.  Any problems, hang out at the corral at mile 3.6 and I'll try to resolve it when I get there.

Here's a list of who's riding and pictures of what some of the key junctions look like.  SHERBORN MEDFIELD GRAVEL.pdf  Note the picture of mile 3.6 which is the 1st road/trail junction.

Ride Start Location:

At Steve the Bike Guys parking lot. He's on vacation so you can park there.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/4w9doJV4WTZPSpiZ7
