Ride Description:

Join the Women’s/Nonbinary Program for two no-drop route options: 1) a beautiful, social 20 mi ride through Westford, Carlisle, and Chelmsford, on quiet, rolling country roads and bike paths, or 2) a 40 mi ride that has it all ... back roads, bike paths, ponds, a little dirt (.4 mi), descents, hill climbs (some small and save some energy for a big one near the end) !

We will start at 66 Tadmuck Rd, and end at Drew Farms (31 Tadmuck Rd), a small, low-key orchard in Westford (see notes about parking location), where they have apples for sale, apple picking, cider, and cider donuts! Extend the party by bringing your lunch (they have picnic tables and porta potties), or stay for pick-your-own apples (not covered by CRW). NO restroom at start, but there is a porta potty at Heart Pond off the Bruce Freeman Trail, 2 miles in. Rest stop at 10 mi at Fern’s Country Store in Carlisle (20 mi route).

All registered riders will get a snack of cider donuts.

Ride Start Location:

DO NOT PARK AT DREW FARM
PARKING/RIDE START LOCATION: 66 Tadmuck Rd, Westford. There are no restrooms at the start location.
Park and meet up at the business park that is 0.7 mi from Drew Farm. Park near the upper and  mid buildings. DO NOT PARK at the lower building. We will roll out from the business park, and then "end" at Drew Farm for snacks, etc. Riders can meander back to their cars on their own time after socializing at the orchard.

The Women's/Nonbinary Program's goal is to invite more women, nonbinary, and female-identifying folks onto the road, foster connection with other women in the club, and act as an on-ramp to other co-ed areas of the club. Feel free to contact the ride leader via email if you have any questions about this ride or the Women's/Nonbinary Program in general.
