BONNET SHORES, RI TO MYSTIC, CT
Description. Easygoing bikepacking ride from our house in Bonnet Shores, Narragansett, RI to Mystic (about 40 miles), with dinner and an overnight stay in Mystic. Then a ride back the next day. If the weather is good, I am hoping for some beach time the morning of the ride out, and the afternoon on the day of the ride back.
The number of registrants will likely be capped at 12. Pace will be moderate to easy (12 mph average), for people who want to try out bikepacking or who would like to have an easy two-day ride.
Hotel. As the hotels in the town of Mystic require two night stays, we would need to stay in a hotel near Olde Mistick Village, probably the Holiday Inn Express (which has availability) https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/mystic/goncb/hoteldetail or Hyatt Place Mystic (more expensive) https://www.hyatt.com/hyatt-place/en-US/bdlzy-hyatt-place-mystic. You should make your reservations sooner rather than later. We would share an uber to get into town for dinner.

As this is a bikepacking trip, please pack accordingly using bikepacks or panniers. Please do not do this with a backpack as the riding will be uncomfortable. Road bikes or gravel bikes please.
