2025 Election is October 4-9
The 2025 CRW Board election is approaching. All club members are encouraged to participate in this process, regardless of their experience level or length of membership. This is great opportunity to get involved and shape the future of our club.
Online voting will be open and available to members in good standing October 4-9, 2025.
Seats available:
This year, CRW seeks to fill 6 seats of various term lengths:
- Three 3-year seats (Jan 1, 2026 - Dec 31, 2028)
- Two 2-year seats (Jan 1, 2026 - Dec 31, 2027)
- One 1-year seats (Jan 1, 2026 - Dec 31, 2026)
2025 election timeline (additional details below):
- Sept 9, 7-8 PM: Prospective Candidate Info Session
- Sept 20, 4 PM: Candidate statements due/posted
- Sept 25, 7-8 PM: Meet the Candidates online forum
- Oct 4, 12:01 AM: Online voting opens
- Oct 9, 11:59 PM: Online voting closes
- Oct 12: Results verified and announced
- Jan 1, 2026: New Board Members take office
Voting eligibility:
- All CRW members in good standing as of October 9, 2025 may vote.
- Confidential ballot, vote for up to 6 candidates.
Give Back by Running for the Board!
Board service offers the chance to work alongside fellow club members to tackle challenges and opportunities. You'll help guide strategic decisions that impact our 1,900 members, from planning signature events to developing new programs that welcome cyclists of all skill levels. Joining the board is an opportunity to deepen your connection to the club and the broader cycling community.
We are especially looking for candidates with skills or interests in sustainability, community organization, event management, logistics, finance, communications, technology, regulations, education, or community outreach.
To Become a Candidate:
- Eligibility: You must be a CRW member in good standing at the time that the election closes in early October.
- To learn more: read the CRW Bylaws and join the (optional) virtual Prospective Candidate Info Session on September 9.

Declare your candidacy: Update your member profile by September 20 to self-declare as an Active Candidate.
- Click on your name at the top of our website.
- Select Edit Profile.
- Scroll down to Board Candidacy, Select Yes.
- Type in your Statement of Candidacy explaining why you want to serve on the Board.
- Make sure you have a photo in your profile.
- Attend the optional Meet the Candidates online forum on September 25.
