Challenge yourself with a long climb to Mount Wachusett—it can only be downhill from there, right? Not exactly, although there certainly is a long descent from the top.
Enjoy a free CRW rest stop 9:00–12:00 at the Mountainside Café, at the base of Mount Wachusett and not too far from the State Park entrance at 213 Mountain Rd, Princeton, MA. Regardless of CRW rest stop, his is a great place to grab a snack or lunch.
T-shirt will be awarded to the first 25 members who complete the 100 mile route between 1–15 June 2021. Details at https://www.crw.org/content/climb-clouds-challenge-win-t-shirt
Please respect all private & public property where you pass through, stop, rest the bicycle, & enjoy the scenery along the way. Be specifically aware inside Wachusett state park of other visitors & park rangers. Hostess at Mountainside Café is generous to allow use of property for our rest stop & restrooms—be extra careful not to disrupt the business, keep the property clean, & keep the bicycles away from plants.
Start from Lincoln Sudbury High School: 390 Lincoln Rd, Sudbury, MA
