Calling all Ride Leaders! Join us for a Winter kick off ride and share some heady camaraderie with your Ride Leader buddies! Two ride lengths to warm you up starting from Craft Food Hall Project-City Point in Waltham. Both routes will take you out to thru Lincoln, Sudbury and return via Weston. Both rides take you past Ponyhenge and across the scenic Sherman Bridge. The long route has a rest stop at Verril Farm. But don't get filled up because we will gather back at Craft Food Hall Project-City Point where CRW gladly thanks you with some hearty slices of pizza and a glass of beer or wine for being the best Ride Leaders around! Sorry, no rest stop on the short route  (This ride is for Ride leaders only.) We will let you know if any snowflakes will put us off our ride, but think positive!

Notes:

The ride start is Craft Food Hall Project-City Point at 200 5th Avenue Waltham. If coming from the north take I95S to Exit 43A to Totten Pond Road to 3rd Avenue to Prospect Hill Lane to 5th Avenue.

Smaller than the Ho Chi Minh gas tank, more obscure than the shroud of Turin, and able to confound the most learned historians - it's the Westford Knight.
One of a number of quirky artifacts in or near the center of Westford. We'll check the evidence of Prince Henry of Sinclair's (he's the knight) pre-columbian discovery of North America.

40 miles from Concord to Westford and back starting at the Keyes St parking lot in Concord Center.

Start at 10:00 AM.

Snacks and coffee available at the Muffin House at mile 24. The knight himself can be seen at about mile 25. But pay attention or you'll ride right by him. The site will be on the right.

Pace will be set by the riders. I'll sweep and try to start riders grouped by speed it enough show up.

Check this website late Friday PM for changes to the route. Any questions call or text Gene at 617-610-1875 or email at ho.eugene@verizon.net.

Gobble, Gobble... Calling on all urban roadies to embark on a Thanksgiving Day morning urban ride through Boston and Brookline. Come out and enjoy a socially paced ride so you can go on and engorge yourself guilt-free! The ride begins in front of the New England Aquarium and takes us through the North End, West End, Downtown, Back Bay, South End, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Fenway, Coolidge Corner, Chestnut Hill, Allston, Brighton, South Boston, and Seaport. Join us for a warm up coffee (or drink) at Tradesman Coffee Shop and Lounge after the ride! Rain or snow cancels. Will make call by 10 pm the night before. Will check again at 6 am in case of unexpected weather.

Notes:

Bring enough water and snacks as open stores will be limited due to it being Thanksgiving Day. We are anticipating a slow traffic day in the city; however, this is still urban cycling. Riders should be knowledgeable of the Nine Important Safety Tips every urban cyclist should know. If unaware, contact ride leader and I'll be happy to provide.
