Winter Mixie: Across Lexington

CRW Rides are open to members and limited guests. Guests may only attend two rides before joining.

If a rider has not pre-registered, that rider must do so online at the start of the ride. 

The online registration will include a liability waiver that all riders will need to review and accept. 

The online registration will also require all riders to review CRW’s Safety and COVID Guidelines and to agree to follow those guidelines on the ride.

 

The Across Lexington trails provide the perfect mixed terrain ride. Many intermediate trails with a few challenging sections and an occasional paved section connecting the trails.

 

Arrive at the start 5-10 minutes early so we can start on time.
Pace: 9-10 mph.
It may be snowy. You may want studded tires.
Winter is unpredictable; the ride could be canceled. Check CRW’s Slack mixed-terrain channel for updates the morning of the ride.

Directions: 

From I-95/Rte-128 take Exit 51A for US-3 S/Cambridge St. Head south for 2.8 miles.
Turn left onto Pond St, just after Whole Foods in Horn Pond Plaza. (Pond St turns into Lake Ave.)
Drive 0.7 miles and the parking lot is on the left by the pond, directly across from Horn Pond Apartments at 48 Lake Ave, Woburn MA.
There is a commuter rail stop at Wedgmere Station in Winchester 1.9 miles from the ride start. The schedule is here: https://mbta.com/schedules/CR-Lowell/timetable
