Sure you've done a metric century before, but how about on a Friday at 5 AM?

Join CRW's Roosters for a fast metric century that focuses less on climbing and more on speed. Plenty of opportunity for pace lining and socializing. Starting from Mighty Squirrel Brewery in Waltham, we'll head to Groton via Lincoln, Acton and Littleton then back to TMS through Westford, Carlisle and Concord. This scenic and relatively flat metric includes a quick regroup/bathroom/snack at Dunkin' Donuts (mile 30). We will skip our longer second breakfast stop at Haute Coffee in Concord center (mile 56) from November to March given the colder weather and lack of indoor space.

Please note that riders who fall behind are dropped. This group rides 17+ minimum on average, but minimum pace on a given week may be higher depending on the riders participating. Each rider should be prepared to ride solo if dropped - GPS, repair kit, proper visibility gear, lights, etc. We cannot predict how many riders will join who cycle at your exact pace. All riders must be able to navigate the route on their own and should be prepared to manage mechanicals and other mishaps.

Outside of summer months, this ride is very dark. Headlights and tail lights are required! High-viz clothing is also encouraged.
