New to Gravel? Veteran Graveler, but suffer from a severe adverse reaction to vertical climbing? Then this ride is for you! Take a nice scenic out-and-back ride on the Rockingham Recreational (Rail) Trail for a total of 52 miles on a wide gravel path. There are some but limited obstacles along the way that may require dismounts, but overall a relatively easy to moderate ride. Prior to turning around and heading back, we'll stop at Newfields Country Store for coffee and FREE snacks generously supported by CRW! So join us on a late autumn day for a pleasant adventure!
60% probability or more of rain or steady rain cancels. Dress for the elements (i.e. warm gear, rain shell, gloves, etc.) Bring enough water and fuel you may need throughout the ride. 32mm or larger tires are STRONGLY recommended!
