Join us for the first CRW Diversity ride as we gather with Ride for Black Lives Boston (RFBL), Bikes Not Bombs, Boston Bike Party, and other organizations in riding in solidarity against acts of oppression, police brutality, and violence against people of color. This ride by RFBL Boston will focus on riding in solidarity celebrating Black Joy. Black People in our communities are able to find happiness even in the presence if multiple, ongoing challenges and tribulations that are rooted in white supremacy and a history of racial oppression.  We begin our CRW ride just outside the New England Aquarium, where we will take a short urban ride to White Stadium in Roxbury. Once there, we'll meet with RFBL who will begin a presentation at 11:30 am, which includes speeches, music and other activities. Once the presentations conclude, there will slow-rolling march back to downtown. This is a diversity event that includes some riding, however, it will be a slow roll so wear a kit, don't wear a kit... ride your commuter bike, fixie or whatever you wish.

Once the presentation by RFBL concludes, we will riding from Franklin Park to the BREATHE LIFE TOGETHER BLOCK PARTY at DEWEY SQUARE. Please bring locks for your bike if you plan to stay for the event. Free and open to all, the Breathe Life Together Block Party will feature a pop-up roller rink, free skate rentals, live music, performances, live DJs, painting and food trucks to celebrate and activate Rob "ProBlak" Gibbs mural Breathe Life Together. Together we aim to cultivate accessible, collective public space of joy, care sustenance and belonging that centers and supports diverse communities, families, and youth from across Boston.
