CRW Rides are open to members and limited guests. Guests may only attend two rides before joining.
All riders (both Members and Guests) must REGISTER

If a rider has not pre-registered, that rider must do so online at the start of the ride. 

The online registration will include a liability waiver that all riders will need to review and accept. 

The online registration will also require all riders to review CRW’s Safety and COVID Guidelines and to agree to follow those guidelines on the ride.

A great way to meet other women CRW members!

Start your weekend off right with a low-traffic, scenic ride through Lexington, Burlington, Woburn, Winchester, and Arlington! The ride leaves from the Minuteman Bikeway terminus near Alewife. We head down the path to Lexington Center, then cut over to Burlington and up Blanchard Rd to the water tower at Mary Cummings Park. We descend to beautiful Horn Pond, spin past Mystic Lakes, and take our "secret" route back to Alewife (that cuts out the traffic in Arlington Center). Expect a pace of about 13-14 mph, with stops to regroup as needed (faster riders can form groups to make their own time).
Rain cancels. Will make call by 10 pm the night before. Will check again at 5 am in case of unexpected weather.

Minuteman Bikeway Trailhead (Arlington/Cambridge)

Directions: 

To reach the Cambridge Minuteman trailhead by subway, take the MBTA Red Line to the Alewife Station. Bicycles are allowed on weekends and during off-peak hours on weekdays; see mbta.com for details.

To reach the Cambridge Minuteman trailhead by car from I-95, take Exit 29A to MA 2 toward Boston. Go 5.9 miles and take the Alewife Station exit. The Alewife Station Access Road becomes Steel Place. Go 0.4 mile and turn left into the parking garage (fee charged).

The Minuteman Bikeway starts on the north side of the Alewife building, at the intersection of Steel Pl and Alewife Station Access Rd. This is the intersection of three bike paths: Fitchburg Cutoff, Alewife Linear, and Minuteman.
