Ride is cancelled

The roads are becoming wet and with the falling leaves, extra slippery. I will try and find a date for this in the near future.

This ride begins in Franklin goes into Wrentham and then into Cumberland, Woonsocket and Lincoln, Rhode Island before coming back into Wrentham and Frankin. A section of the ride is on the (fully paved) Blackstone River Bike Path and then goes through the Diamond Hill Reservoir. At ~ mile 26 we will pass the Big Apple that has cider donuts and other goodies (as well as fruit) at this time of year.  The foliage in the area is usually good for viewing at this time of year. After the ride, Coles Tavern (553 Washington Street, Franklin) is nearby the end point, if lunch is in your plans.

PLEASE PARK IN THE LOT TO THE RIGHT OF THE BUILDING AS  THERE IS A FRANKIN REC DEPARTMMENT EVENT AT THE FIELDS TO THE LEFT OF THE BUILDING.

10.12.18 -- Given the weather foecast, I will post any weather related cancellation just after 8AM on 10.13.18

I am not aware of a speed limit on the Bike Path - I will ride whatever the traffic will tolerate and have been passed by others when I am doing 18-20 mph.

Non-members should fill out our release form before the ride.  You will then not need to fill out the printed form at the ride.
