CENTURY RIDE TO MT. WACHUSETT 

IN PRINCETON MASSACHUSETTS

Spend the day with fellow cyclists touring through the apple orchard country of east central Massachusetts.

Routes

Sudbury Start

  • 100, 80, 63 (metric century) and 50 mile routes
  • 100 and 80 mile routes includes the climb on Mt Wachusett*

 

*The climb on Mt Wachusett is a one mile climb at a steady 9% grade to the summit.  This part of the route is not for beginners but can be omitted.

NOTE: We may make last minute route changes based on road condition. Route information will be made available to registered riders shortly before the ride. This will include cue sheets and GPS links.

GROUP RIDES

If you would like to ride with a group, we will have several groups of three routes led by CRW Ride Leaders.   (The 80 and 100 mile routes are very hilly and therefore we have posted paces that are appropriate).  Group rides will be limited to 15 riders.

Support

CRW will provide

  • Water, food, and relief stops on all routes.
  • Technical and mechanical support at the start.
  • After-ride food and drinks for all returning riders.

 

Food / Water Stops

Food at these stops is included in your entrance fee and typically includes bagels, peanut butter, bananas, other fruit, cookies, granola bars, etc, plus water or other beverages.

All of the rest stops as well as the start and finish have bathrooms or porta-johns - PLEASE USE THEM!

On-road support and pre-ride technical support will be provided.  Please make sure that your bicycle is fully operational before the ride.  Riders are expected to know how to change a flat and carry the appropriate tools.

 

Registration

The Spring Century has reached capacity and is no longer accepting registration.  No day of event registration.

The price for this event is $25 for CRW members and $40 for non-members.  (The price of a one-year CRW membership is $15 -- you decide)

 

  • CRW members - $25 (members must login to the site to register at this price)
  • Combined Century Registration and CRW Membership - $40
  • Nonmembers  - $40

Register early, and be certain you have a place in the ride.

Registration fee is non-refundable.

Registration will  CLOSE Friday May 17th at 12 noon. or when we reach our limit on the number of riders.

Volunteer

CRW is an all volunteer club, and we need help running this event. You can volunteer for some tasks and still ride the full century (and for free!).
