Lexington Green
From route 128 take Exit #31 east (Rts. 4 & 225) 1.7 miles to Lexington Center. Park in the surrounding neighborhoods and bike to the start.
No snow on the ground. We can still draw our own snowflake Strava art.
Therefore, not every road is the most amazing. It has some of everything: rural, urban, and suburban roads. All paved, no dirt.
The six snowflake branches arrive at six different towns: Woburn, Arlington, Waltham, Weston, Concord, and Wilmington. Each town has a very distinct personality.
Thank you Ride Studio Café for inspiring this route.
After each branch we return to close to Lexington center. Every 50–60km, we stop at Cumberland Farms in Lexington to refill your insulated bottle with hot chocolate & coffee. Snacks & hot sandwiches are also available.
Complete as many snowflake branches as you wish. Drop early in Lexington center or join the group partway through the ride. We will share live location on club Slack #ride channel https://www.crw.org/content/slack
Expect moderate pace at 14–16mph.
Roads are sandy and possibly icy this time of year. Be extra careful. Be ready for lots of turns.
Meet by Captain John Parker statue.
