CRW Rides are open to members and limited guests. Guests may only attend two rides before joining.
All riders (both Members and Guests) must REGISTER

If a rider has not pre-registered, that rider must do so online at the start of the ride. 

The online registration will include a liability waiver that all riders will need to review and accept. 

The online registration will also require all riders to review CRW’s Safety and COVID Guidelines and to agree to follow those guidelines on the ride.

 

Two challenging rides to jump start the outdoor season. Both rides are accessible by Commuter Rail (Ayer Station-Fitchburgh line), with ample parking at the Nashua River Rail Trail start.

  • 100mi: A hilly route through the scenic roads of Pepperell, MA and Amherst, NH.  Formerly the Mirror Century, this route has three rest stops in Amherst, Peterborough, and Townsend. 
  • 100km: Another hilly route past Parker's Maple Barn in Brookline to the top of Merriam Hill in Mason, NH.  This is preview of the Rebel Road route with two rest stops in Brookline and Townsend.

Directions: 

Rt. 2 West, 4 miles beyond Rt. 495, take exit 38B for Rt. 110 East/111 North. Go 2 miles to rotary and follow Rt. 111 North/2A West toward Ayer. Stay on Rt. 111/2A turning right in downtown Ayer, then turn right on Groton St. just after NAPA auto parts store. Parking garage is immediately on the right, across from the bike path.
