A short non techy gravel ride over familiar terrain. Start at the Keyes rd parking lot in Concord Center, bike up the Reformatory trail to the Narrow Gauge trail in Bedford. Then, on the roads to Great Brook Farm where we'll take dirt roads to Carlisle, and Estabrook road/trail back to Concord. Half paved, half gravel/dirt. Out of the wind and ridden at a gravel appropriate pace. Bring your gravel bike or functional equivalent. Figure about three hours +/- elapsed time. Any questions call or text me at 617-610-1875 or email ho.eugene@verizon.net. Upper Estabrook rd can be rocky but a measured pace and moderation of your tire pressure will get you through.
Start at 11:00am at the Keyes st parking lot on the side away from the restrooms. We should be biking during the warmest part of the day. At about mile 16 we'll go by Ferns if anyone needs a food/pit stop.
