A gravel ride on dirt roads and bikeable trails around Concord. We are never more than a few miles from Concord Center and the route crosses numerous major roads leading back to the start allowing easy bailouts. The route is a good intro to non techy gravel biking while imparting some skills needed to participate in the frequently held "gravel grinder" events that occur in New England. Bring a gravel or mountain bike with tires > 28mm and pressures sufficiently low to enable comfortable passage over bad pavement.

Today's ride will be training oriented at new gravel bikers with a suitably slow pace and a more cohesive grouping ethic than is the norm.

Meet at the Keyes St parking lot on the side AWAY FROM THE RESTROOMS at 10:30am Thursday 9/23/21. Figure about 2.5 hours elapsed time. Any questions call or text Gene @ 617-610-1875
