Directions: 

From Route 95 Take exit 46B (Old Exit 30B) for Route 2A West. Pass flashing yellow light at Hanscom Drive and continue to second flashing light at fork; stay right onto Lexington Road AKA Battlefield Road. There will be a  sign for parking for Meriam's Corner.

The Thursday Night Fitness Ride welcomes all riders who want to improve their skill and enjoyment of cycling. The long route is 28.7 miles for rolling hills through Concord, Acton, Chelmsford and Carlisle. The 26 mile route makes a slight detour into Kate's Corner and picks up the long route arrows on Proctor Road. There is an optional Alt 22 mile route for limited daylight and casual riding. Groups are divided into 6-8 riders each by average pace which ranges from 15 to 22+ mph. There will be a no-drop paceline to practice safe group riding skills for up to 6 riders. We ride around 13 - 15 mph and pick up the pace depending on the experience of the participants. Led Paceline rides are generally the first Thursday of each month. Cancellation due to poor weather is posted before 4 PM.

The Bike Thursday Ride this week (5/12/22) will start in Lincoln.   The route is just over 20 miles, covering some hills throughout Lincoln, Wayland, Weston and Sudbury.  

The ride starts at 10:00 AM.  Registration is mandatory and will be limited to 33 participants including 3 leaders. Please register by sending an email to Barbara at bj.bikethursday [at] gmail.com.  Barbara will confirm your registration as soon as possible.

We will be following the CRW rules of the road.  Riders will be split into 3 groups depending on the number of riders and pace.  The overall pace of this ride will average between 10 - 12+ mph and the groups will stay together.

Please check your calendar before signing up for the ride.  If you need to cancel please email Barbara at bj.bikethursday [at] gmail.com.

Rain cancels - a notice will go out the night before or before 8 AM the day of the ride.

Registered riders will be sent the ride start and the route on Ride with GPS on Wednesday evening - May 11th.

What: Efficient 30 mile tempo ride
Where: Starts at Mighty Squirrel and goes through Lincoln and Concord
When: 5:40 AM

Riders who fall behind are dropped. Speed will likely be 18 - 21 mph depending on road conditions. Each rider should be prepared to ride solo if dropped. GPS, repair kit, proper visibility gear, lights are required. All riders must be able to navigate the route on their own and should be prepared to manage mechanicals and other mishaps.

Riders are expected to have directions available during the ride. Please bring sufficient front and rear lights.

Yes, our Ride Leader kickoff is back and it's (a)live, real, in person, with food and beverages and all of your friends event! We're spending the big bucks and even hired a bartender so we can serve the good stuff!

No, we don't know if Covid is coming back but we're tired of Zoom so come one come all and see your CRW friends. 

All Ride Leaders and Ride Leader Wannabes are invited to join us at the Lexington Deport on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for beverages and socializing. We'll have a short presentation to bring you up to date on all the great things that are happening in the club and then you'll have more time to talk with your Ride Leader friends, meet new people and plan some rides.
