All riders welcome, starting at 9:00 am, meeting at the Minuteman Statue in Lexington. It's a friendly ride for those new to CRW, new to group riding, as well as old hands.  Ride through Concord and the lovely Monument Street.  Longer route takes you into Carlisle.

Four groups, something for everyone:

Touring Pace 10-12 mph - 20 mile route.  No drop ride, usually with a Ride Leader.

Club Pace 13-14 mph - 20 mile route.   Good conversational pace ride.  Riders can drop to the group following.

"Almost There" Pace 15-16+ mph - 20 mile route. Good workout pace where we can still chat - sort of.  Riders can drop to the group following.

Adrenaline Pace 17+ mph - 30 mie route.  This ride can be goofy fun, with attacks on hills and even on the flats (when someone is really bored).  Bring your grown-up socks for this one.

Option of ice cream at Rancatore's in Lexington when the pandemic is over.

Ladies,

On 22 May 2021 at 11:00 in Lexington Hastings Park let’s get our hands dirty. It’s time to learn how to change a flat, lube a chain and take care of your bike. Here is what you will need:

  • Tube
  • Tire levers
  • Pump/CO2 canister with adapter
  • Multitool
  • Tube patching kit
  • Presta/Schrader adapter (in case you need to use gas station pump)

👆those are the things you should always have with your in your saddle bag.

Our tutor will be Max Kaznady. He will walk us through simple on road repairs, explain the differences between clincher and tubeless tires and how to maintain them. He was kind enough to create a file for us with detailed description of saddle bag content, rims description and potential repair scenarios on the road. See link: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AtMJBtkfIQHUgP48q-izmovc3Kj96Q

We will serve a small snack and non-alcoholic beverage. Hand sanitizers and baby wipes will be on sight. We will follow the COVID club guidance.

In case of rain this event will take place via zoom.

Let's continue the conversation on Slack #women & #gear channels.

Make sure you register for the event.
