Therefore, we have decided to return home from Singapore so that Larry can establish the continuous family presence that he feels the situation warrants.

This will mean concluding our Odyssey Trek a month earlier than originally planned...which we do without regret.

We have had a wild and wonderful experience and have met many wonderful people both within the bike group and among the citizens of our host countries. We have successfully dealt with the physical and emotional challenges, have developed a more knowledgeable global perspective, and have come to appreciate (like never before) the good fortune we have been blessed with by being born in the first world in general and in the United States in particular.

For all this and for our good health and good luck in having been able to engage in such an extraordinary quality of life pursuit, we are so grateful.

We will follow up with our final Odyssey updates upon departure from Singapore.
