Ride Leaders Wanted

Would you like to contribute to the club and lead a ride? We need people to help us with our ride programs. The CRW is a volunteer organization; the rides don't happen by themselves, and without your efforts, we will be unable to offer the number and variety of rides as we have in the past.

Do you have a favorite route? A short jaunt that winds past scenic, rural orchards and lily covered ponds, leaving you in a state of Zen-like euphoria? Perhaps a challenging roller coaster of a ride that makes your quadriceps quiver but puts your goal of a fast century within reach? In either case, why not share that ride with your friends and fellow club members?

If you are not sure how to get started, or would simply prefer it, we can hook you up with a Ride Leader mentor. This experienced leader will show you the ropes and help you with each step of putting a ride together -- planning a route, creating a cue sheet and so on. Or you can take an existing route and lead that (with the current leader's OK). If you prefer to start more slowly, you can volunteer to be a Co-Leader or help arrow a ride. Leading a ride is a great way to give something back to the club. Please contact us if you are interested in leading a ride.

If you are not interested in leading a ride, we need volunteers to host or provide a place for after ride parties.
