Electronic WheelPeople

CRW Members receive WheelPeople, the monthly newsletter, electronically. You will receive a monthly e-mail notifying you that WheelPeople is available for download as a PDF file. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read this file. You can download this program for free:

NOTE: Only CRW Members can receive WheelPeople. If you are not a member and would like to join, fill out a membership form and submit it.

Keeping Email Address Current

There are several other reasons for members to make sure that our membership coordinator has a current email address for you.

Membership Renewal Reminders

We've gone to a system of sending membership renewal notices electronically to all members for whom we have email addresses in the CRW membership database. This saves the club quite a bit of volunteer effort and money since we don't have to physically address, stamp and send out the renewal cards by postal mail. The downside is that people seem to change email addresses more frequently than residences, and if we don't have an updated email address, the renewal reminder will not reach you.

Notices

We may also very infrequently use the list of email addresses in the membership database to send out last minute notices, like a change of ride start or time after WheelPeople has been published, and we can't reach all the membership if we don't have their email addresses.

Mailing Lists

CRW Announcement Mailing List

We've created a mailing list that is used by club officers to send out announcements to club members. We invite all members to join this list when they join the club. If for some reason, you did not subscribe at that time, you can subscribe to the list now by sending an email to:

crwannounce-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

The list is intended ONLY for announcements from club officers. It is not a discussion list, and no one can post to it except club officers. It is used infrequently, so you needn't worry about your inbox filling up.
